Fascinating zoom conference call yesterday. What would you do?
We talked with a young minister helping a child. She goes into a home to provide help for a child with anxiety.
The child did perfect and the young minister did excellent best we could tell, affirming loving praying.
During the child’s time receiving attention, her dad walked in. He was angry and told the child to “repent” and “liars go to hell”, etc. Then he went to his room and slammed the door. Then he came out and gave the child another earful. Freaked the child out.
Now the young minister needs ministry. What to do?
The child is not the issue. She will heal if she keeps getting help. The young minister is not the issue. She will maintain relationship.
Is the issue dad and he doesn’t know it? What would you do? How would you help the child?
