If a child or teen suffered hurts in their past, their pain was preverbal. Hence, ministers helping them heal must design their ministry help so they open up and share vulnerably on a preverbal level and with lots of prayer. Healing through play and prayer is uniquely able to help a someone tap into their deep hurts. During ministry, children and teens open up and express what was trapped inside. Ministering to a child or teen on this level helps them move forward to the next stage.

One parent told us, "I didn't expect them to change so fast." That young person took two weeks to heal and change. Her parents were so thankful. We also work at training parents so they can utilize ministry techniques at home.
